Juniors in North Devon

Titans Junior Section  - From the ages of 5 to 16 year olds

Training for our U11's/U12's & U14's section is on a weekly basis - Wednesday evenings at Park School, Barnstaple on the outside courts, by qualified England Netball Coaches.     NO TRAINING FOR OUR JUNIORS IN SCHOOL HOLIDAYS.

‘BUZZER’   (Aged 5 to 7 years)  School Years 1 & 2    train from 5.30pm to 6.45pm

‘FLIER’ (Aged 7 to 9 years)   School Years 3 & 4  train from 5.30pm to 6.45pm

’STINGER’ (Aged 9 to 11 years)   School Years 5 & 6  train from 5.30pm to 6.45pm

Members in the ’STINGER’ section will also have the opportunity to play in the North Devon Junior Sunday League. (Generally one Sunday a month between the months of September to March - 9.45am to Midday)

U12's  (School Year 7) & U14’s  (School Years 8 & 9)  train from 5.30pm to 6.55pm.

Our U12’s & U14’s members are split into groups based on ability of play.  

Members in the U12's & U14's section will also have the opportunity to play in the North Devon Junior Sunday League. (Generally one Sunday a month between the months of September to March - 9.45am to 1pm)

U16's (School Years 10 & 11) Train on a weekly basis, mixed in with the Senior section of Titans Netball Club from 7 to 8.30pm.

There are four training groups, which is split based on ability. Currently all training groups are on the outside courts. Members in the U16 section will also have the opportunity to play in the North Devon Senior League (played weekly on Monday nights at Park School).

For 2022/23 Season, Titans have secured an U14 team (Division One) and and an U16 team (Division Two) in the South West Regional Junior Leagues.

Titans Netball deliver the new ‘BEE NETBALL’ framework introduced by England Netball.

Bee Netball is a programme that enables children to learn the game in a way that is just right for their stage of development.

Our first principle is that we are developing child first, netballer second. We believe this will above all benefit the child best, but also netball. We hope through this we can encourage physically active, productive, confident, friendly and resilient children who go on to enjoy netball and an active lifestyle for many years to come.
