About Our Club
With a shared passion for netball, Titans was formed by Lorraine Beel and Claire Turner in the Summer of 2002, with the aim of bringing people together and to provide a social fitness activity to committed players looking to improve their netballing abilities. In 2021 we opened the Tiverton Branch of Titans Netball Club as the first junior club in Mid Devon.
At Titans we welcome players of all ages and abilities in a friendly and encouraging environment, whether you’re a complete beginner looking to try a new sport or an experienced player wanting to play competitively. Our regular training sessions are informative and fun with a focus on making netball enjoyable at any level.
We also welcome non-playing members to the club who may wish to be involved with coaching, umpiring or just to lend support!

Rhianna passes Umpire Award
1st November 2021 - 13 Year old Rhianna Beel passes her INTO Officiating Award with flying colours. Rhianna has been actively umpiring in the North Devon Senior League for several months, and keen to progress up the umpiring ladder. I'm sure she will over take her mum very shortly!

Success at County Tournament
Sept 2021 - Titans took two teams to the County Tournament, with the view to compete in the SW Regional League for 2021/22 season. Titans Stars (U14's) secured a third place post, out of 7 teams, to be successful for the forthcoming season. Titans Plutos (U16's) will have to await their fate, after finishing in 5th place.

Player of the match Award
Sept 2021 - Lucy Burnett takes the honour for the Titans member to win the most Player of the Match accolades, in our Titans Summer League. Well Done Lucy

Winners in the Titans Summer League
Sept 2021 - Charlotte Broadhead and Jen Burnett were announced as the winners for being on the winning team the most times in the Titans Summer League 2021. Both ladies managed to win five out of the six games.

Lockdown Hero Award 2021
August 2021 - Lorraine Beel was awarded Lockdown Hero at the South West Goalden Globes. An afternoon tea party at Taunton to collect her award, along with being recognised for winning the Muriel McNally Award in 2020.

Summer Camps for Titans
August 2021 - Summer Camps in both Barnstaple and Tiverton were a huge success over the summer period. Lots of enthusiasm from new and old members, engaging in fun filled activities.

Fitness Training a success
August 2021 - Summer Fitness training was another huge success for Titans. Combining the venues of Northam Burrows and Rock Park, numbers were high to maintain their pre season fitness programme. Thank you to Coaches Katrina Venner, Lorraine Beel, Lorraine Cleverdon-Brend and Lucy Burnett for leading the sessions.

Titans Summer League 2021
Summer 2021 - Titans wanted to promote Club bonding with a difference for this summer period, so we have formed our very own Summer League for our senior members and to incorporate our Year 9 & Year 8 SW Regional squad members. We have mixed and matched the teams to include a range of ability of play and ages. All about getting to know one another, building confidence, trying out new playing positions, trying umpiring and scoring. Each week, the teams will be drawn out of a hat, and different team captains selected. Members will receive a prize for the most points scored for being on a winning team each week.
