September 2018 - Rhianna & Lorraine Beel & Glenda Tucker, showed three generations of family members, on the Technical Officials Table, at the start of the South West Regional League season in Plymouth. 10 year old Rhianna gained invaluable experience in Timekeeping & Scoring roles, under the watchful eye of her mum & nan. Rhianna was keen to learn, and very quick to read the game, and actively fulfil her roles with ease. 

September 2018 - Titans Senior Members have been throwing themselves into action at training sessions. Enrolled with the help from Fitness Instructor Lindsay Hurst, she has been whipping our members into shape. 

Titans are holding an Auction of Promises evening, to fund raise for our Junior Section. Any donations of Promises, along with a Draw Prize would be greatly received. Ideal time to purchase a Christmas present!

9th Sept 2018. What a fantastic result for Team Thunder in Exeter, to secure a fabulous 5th spot out of 20.Thunder tended to make it difficult for themselves by going down and then coming back, but for a first outing, the play and the results were superb.Kiara Clarke & Charlotte Broadhead stepped up and certainly benefited from the experience, winning interceptions and making good decisions when in possession. It was great to welcome Lorraine Cleverdon Brend and Ruth Chamings back onto the the court after maternity breaks, and you wouldn't have known they had been off. Then those from last season showed they've maintained their fitness and composure to enable others to settle. Great defence from Paula Young and Rowan Fitzsimmons enabled Louise Lathwell to put up loads of accurate shots, and Katrina Venner and Nicole Lathwell worked tirelessly in the mid court.Thunder finished runners up in their pool and faced Taunton side Galmington in the quarter finals. Drawing 9 all at full time meant the exciting golden goal rule. This was the longest time all day for a goal to be scored, with the play going from one end to the other, and amounting mighty pressure on the shooters, but unfortunately Thunder were on the losing side. 9th Sept 2018 - Team Lightning entered the Pre Season South West Regional Tournament in Exeter. It was a fast start to the first game in their pool, versus Bristol side Premier Romans, who's set play had obviously been well rehearsed. Lightning quickly composed themselves and came back hard, pushing Romans out of their comfort zone. Unfortunately, not enough for a win, losing narrowly by one goal. 12-11.For their 2nd game, Lightning dominated the court from the onset to Taunton side Trident, and thanks to super feeds into the shooting circle and solid defence, they came away to secure a win. 15-9.Their winning streak was cut short next, when Exeter 'B' rattled Lightning in their third game. Exeter drew on their huge squad and maximised on their quick passes.  A tight game and neck and neck throughout, with another narrow defeat 12-10.Next was Cornish side Bodmin, a new team to the regional circuit, but not to be taken lightly. Their fiery and ready attitude made it tough initially, but the experience of Lightning, took them through to secure the win 12-4.In the 2nd round stages, Lightning played the 3rd place teams from each pool. They faced Bristol side Almondsbury, Cornwall Storm & Team Bath.Three great games, with tight scorelines.Almondsbury - Loss 12-10Storm - Loss 12-10Team bath - Won 10-9Solid and secure play throughout with only a few errors and missed opportunities. Incredible play, teamwork and positive attitude throughout.Lightning finished in 11th spot out of 20 teams.   Team Line Up:-Grace Wilton, Poppy Sampson, Jo Nancekivell, Emily Risdon, Beth Nancekivell, Amber Manley, Rebecca Manley & Clare Wilmott.

September 2018 - Three of Titans Coaches  - Lorraine Beel, Michelle Sampson & Lorraine Cleverdon-Brend, attended a Coaching Masterclass at Exeter University. with Former Mavericks & England Assistant Coach - Maggie Jackson. Purely based on 'Defending Of The Centre Pass', it was a very informative evening, learning new techniques, and how to educate our Members understanding to apply defence strategies.

1st September 2018 - Team Storm came together with a mixture of 'older' experienced players with the 'young' talent of the club, to win all their matches at the Lynne Bonnet Tournament, taking the Champions spot in the First Division Group.  Nicola Hinton rejoined 'Stormies' after 12 months off due to injury, to also help secure the Cup for the most goals scored by any team.  Sharon Curtis was also on fine form in the shooting circle to earn her the accolade of Player of the Tournament.Well Done to Team Storm  - Always great team spirit to enable them to work well as a unit.Back Row: Claire Turner, Sharon Curtis, Nicola Hinton, Lorraine Beel, Daisy TotterdellFront Row: Abbie Plucknett, Rowan Fitzsimmons & Tallulah Thompson.

1st September 2018 - Great start for Team Rockets, ahead of their first season in the North Devon Senior League, to take Runners Up spot at the Lynne Bonnet Netball Tournament.
